RMG-4-FSD — 4-Contact Rubber Moulded Dummy Connector

The RMG-4-FSD is a 4-contact rubber-moulded dummy connector — a female-socket dummy cap that protects male-pin faces (RMG-4-MP in-line, XSG-4-BCL bulkhead). Moulded in special neoprene with hard gold-plated contacts, it keeps the unmated face sealed and the contacts protected during deck handling, water entry and storage.

• Gold-plated contacts: copper alloy, hard gold plated per ASTM-B-488 — maintains the contact system when mated.

Notes for Selection

Select the dummy gender to match the face being protected: female-socket dummies (FSD) cap male-pin connectors, male-pin dummies (MPD) cap female-socket connectors. Order the HP or LP variant to match the locking sleeve in service, and specify -S for stainless-steel hardware where required. Store connectors with dummies installed, dry and UV-shaded.
