LPDC9M Low Profile Dummy Connector

The LPDC9M is a SubConn Compatible Low Profile pressure-proof dummy connector, 9-contact male (pins) face. It protects unmated Low Profile in-line and bulkhead interfaces against water ingress, contamination and contact damage during storage, transit and deployment — recommended for every unmated LP interface.

9 Contacts 600 V / 10 A Max 40 A 700 bar / 7,000 m > 500 Wet Matings Low Profile Low-Drag SubConn Compatible

Key Design Features

  • Low-profile, low-drag body: the flat connector profile presents minimal cross-section to water flow — significantly reduces drag on AUV hulls, glider fairings and ROV sensor racks versus standard circular connector bodies.
  • High contact density in a compact body: 9 contacts in a flat rectangular footprint that fits tight instrument racks and sensor clusters.
  • Wet-mateable: more than 500 wet mating cycles with wiper seals protecting the contacts.
  • Gold-plated contacts: corrosion-immune, stable low-resistance paths over the full operating life.
  • Flexible marine build: high-grade rubber body suited for repeated dynamic bending in instrument cables and pigtails.
  • SubConn Compatible: same contact sizes as the SubConn Compatible Circular series.
