HPIL4F Underwater Connector High Power Series In-Line Connector 4 Pin Contact Female
HPIL4F SubConn Compatible underwater high power power connector, 600 V, 50 A per contact (200 A per connector), >500 wet matings, 800 bar open face pressure tested.
The HPIL4F is a SubConn Compatible in-line (cable-to-cable / cable-to-equipment) subsea high-power connector, female (sockets) face, from the 4-contact High Power group of the Power series. Rated 600 V DC/AC rms at 50 A per contact in water (max 200 A per connector), it is wet-mateable for more than 500 mating cycles and qualified by open-face pressure testing to 800 bar / 11,600 psi — built for ROV main power feeds, subsea trenching machines and other high-demand applications.

Key Design Features
High power in one interface: 600 V at 50 A per contact in water — up to 200 A per connector — for ROV main power, trenching machines and heavy subsea loads.
Keyed mating: a stainless steel location pin prevents mis-mating of the 4-contact power interface.
Wet-mateable: more than 500 wet mating cycles with a proven contact design.
SubConn Compatible: standard inline and bulkhead configurations, POM or stainless steel locking sleeves, pressure-proof dummy connectors.
Field installable: field-installable versions for straightforward repair and on-site assembly.
Rugged marine build: chloroprene rubber body, nitrile O-rings and stainless steel snap rings for offshore, defence and oceanographic service.
HPIL4M in-line connector (male); pressure-proof dummy connector available
Interchangeability
SubConn Compatible — SubConn Power series (single contact / battery 2, 3, 4 contacts / High Power 4 contacts)
Typical Applications
Power supply for offshore oil and gas, renewable energy and subsea systems; ROVs, ROTVs and subsea trenching machines; marine battery pack charging; underwater pump units; hazardous-environment power supply.
Notes for Selection
Locking sleeves are required for in-line versions. Pressure-proof dummy connectors protect unmated interfaces. Certified pressure test reports to specific ocean depths are available on request.
Custom configurations available
Customised harness cables and direct moulding to selected polyurethane (PUR) cables, customer-specified
connector body material and cable lengths, field-installable versions, pressure-proof dummy connectors and
certified pressure testing to specific ocean depths can be specified to order. Send us your drawing or
power requirement for a quotation.
